Madonna Inn is not only a Central Coast landmark, but a world-famous hotel as well! People come from all over to see this incredibly unique hotel created by Alex and Phyllis Madonna, especially during the holidays.

Fun fact: The hotel’s first 12 rooms were completed on Dec. 24, 1958, and a handful of surprised travelers were allowed to stay in them for free as a holiday gift! Construction on the inn continued into the 1960s to include a coffee shop, dining room, cocktail lounge, wine cellar, gift shop, and more. Today there are 110 rooms, each decorated in a special theme.
